has there been a change in the bidding system...am watching an item and bids went from 400.00 to 450.00, both from the same bidder...no incr

see item 230848098245 and see the bidding sequences...looks like Ebay didnt add the normal 2.50 increase to a bidders...he bid once, met the other bidder, then increased his bid again and it 'appears' to have taken his 'stink bid' of 450.00 from his original 400.00...at least it appears that way (checked the automatic bids and the previous high person didnt have a higher bid unless system doesnt show it...)..just curious

Bids page shows reserve met at $450.

Perhaps there was a reserve of $450.  I believe that would explain the jump.
