Aren't all gifts free? I tried redeeming a "free" gift but all it shows is how much it costs? So what's free about a gift that costs money. And it seems to me that all gifts are free without saying they are free, n'est ce pas?

Check your email and any links you received. Careful what you open. Sometimes you can tell by the web address if it's legitimate(or if it's actually a secure link).  Have never personally ever received an offer of a "gift" from eBay. Not saying it's impossible. I would go with the old expression, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Remember any questions about offers you receive, that googley place can be your friend, before ever clicking on anything else.

Look for the coupon code then. That’s what makes it free if in fact there is an offer. For what? Shipping supplies?
