when using IE 9 to view my postings the description listing is all condensed into 1 vertical line. WHY?

I don't have this problem with my other browsers such as Chrome and Firfox. Another problem is that I.E.9 will not allow me to log into my account if I use the www.ebay.ca link, it will allow me to connect if I use the www.ebay.com link. why? I live in Canada and again my other browsers don't cause this problem.
