Can I buy an item with my Paypal account linked with my bank account?

I try to buy an item using my paypal account, but it says it only takes credit cards now. Back then, I bought an item with my bank account linked to my paypal account. So, I want to know if I still can buy with my bank account via paypal or it's only credit cards.

 I pay with Paypal and my bank account without a problem. You do however have to have an active credit card as a back-up in case there are insufficient funds. As long as you have the funds in the bank they will take from there first (assuming you have bank set up as "primary" method). I think this was always the case so maybe you have an old credit card set up with them that has expired and you have to update. If you go into your "wallet" on PayPal it should show what you have there and which is your primary method. I use Shippo for printing my eBay labels and they take from PayPal all the time with payment from my bank account.

Who is "it"?  PayPal or eBay?

I don't know if if that is possible now.  You might have to first transfer the money from your bank to your PP account and wait until it clears.

 PayPal no longer processes ebay seller payments so it's possible that 'echeques' are no longer possible. Have you checked with PayPal?  To do that they might require you to have a credit card attached to you PP account as backup.
