Didn't receive confirmation email from last 3 items

I have logged into my Ebay account, purchased 3 different items from different sellers  in the last week and have not received a confirmation email from Ebay saying I did buy these items.  I did get emails from Paypal, but not in the same format as past emails.   One just said Ebay in the 'merchant' spot, and not the seller's id.  Anyone else having this problem?  Otherwise before this, it was business as usual.

I can’t answer why you aren’t receiving the emails from eBay but similar glitches aren’t uncommon.  One reason that your PP emails refers to eBay as the merchant might be because that seller uses ebays Managed Payments program to process payments, not PayPal.   I recall reading that in MP eBay is considered as the merchant although I could be wrong.

Wow, I am commenting on my own question again... like the ol "here I am standing beside myself."

or "where ever you go, there you are."  In my communication preferences, for confirmation email, it is greyed out.  So this is a glitch with Ebay.

Yeah post a question to a volunteer Board a quarter to one in the night and no answer a whole hour later. Shocking.

No confirmation about my purchase today (this morning) and it is now evening.    Normally confirmation is pretty much instantaneous!

P.S.  My communication preferences are ok, and there is nothing in my spam folder.
