Ebay deleting a left Feedback

Hi, 

I just wanted to share valuable information when considering a purchase …. I left a feedback saying simply that the seller "Could not follow simple shipping instructions". Ebay deleted it. 

It was an honest feedback left because I pre-arranged with seller for USPS …. then they sent it Fed Ex eventually ...7 days later … admitted their mistake and offered NO solution. 

Ebay deleting this is unethical and misrepresents the truth about very poor customer service.

Most transactions are good, but it leaves you wondering .....how many not so favourable feedbacks are deleted after they are left? Food for thought for buyers ...

That does seem like a pretty innocuous FB -- as negs go.

Perhaps if you had made it more factual "Arranged USPS shipping Sent FedEx forcing me to pay duty"  would have been more explicit .

FWIW eBay does not use feedback to assess seller accounts. Disputes -- and this could be considered a Not As Described dispute-- are part of the assessment process.

However some buyers do pay attention to feedback.
