I was successful in 2 auctions last evening. Do I wait for an email from Ebay before paying?

I have not yet received any formal notification other than when each of the auctions ended the bidding box said Congratulations, etc. 

Should I now wait for an email from eBay before proceeding to pay through Pay Pal? How long does it usually take to receie official confirmation of a successful bid?

Hi 1golferbc; yes, you did win 2 auctions -- Congratulations!

There's no need to wait for emails --the important thing, is that your User ID is shown on the listing pages as the winning bidder. As soon as the listing ends, and shows you as the winning bidder, you can click on the Pay Now button on the listing page, or from your list of items won in your My eBay page.

FYI - you should double-check the shipping address before you pay, to make sure it is correct. Once you have paid, the shipping address can't be changed.

The emails from eBay are sent out immediately, and normally get delivered within a few minutes to your in-box. But sometimes, somethings happens and they get delayed or lost after they are sent. So, you should never rely on emails to find out if you won or lost - always log in to eBay and check your My eBay page.
