Did you know you were purchasing a non-genuine product?  Your post is a little shy on details.

A straightforward Not As Described Claim.

While it is polite to let the seller know, don't get in a conversation with them.

They should be refunding promptly.

They may want to send Return Shipping first and refund on delivery.

 

But if they try to say they can't or won't.

Go to the original purchase on your Purchase History (under My eBay at the top of most pages).

Click on Returns and go from there.

 

Even if the seller has a No Returns policy, they do not have a No Refunds policy.
