Hi just wondering if this is trusted website to buy thing on
I've been buying stuff on ebay for over 2 decades. It depends what you want to buy (do you know what you are looking for and can spot the differences between genuine and fake). And it depends on who you buy from (I recommend looking at a Sellers feedback before buying to see if there are problems).
ebay has refund protection for non-delivery and for items not as described (NAD works best for Canadian purchases). The protection is only for 30 days from time of delivery so make sure to make any claims before the clock runs out.
Money for most eBay sales is handled by eBay. If the seller suggests direct payment -- consider avoiding, since there will be no eBay protection. The main exception is if you are picking up your purchase directly rather than having it shipped.
You have been an eBay member for 10 years so would you not have thoroughly familiarized self with the site over these many years? You should already know that eBay is NOT perfect, whether it be for buying or selling; just as Amazon, FB Marketplace, etc, etc is NOT perfect for buying or selling.
Buyers generally only come to the forum to launch complaints: very few buyers bother with the forums if they are happy and content with their purchases.
The buying experience is going to vary from transaction to transaction; from buyer to buyer, from country to country...Nothing is guaranteed!
We do not live in a world where everything is trustworthy and there is no such thing as perfection that is applicable to ANY selling site.
You gotta live life for what it is not what you want it to be or what you think it should be...
Life is a gamble...selling items on any site is a gamble...BUYING items on ANY site where you cannot physically see, touch, feel is always a gamble.
C'est la vie!
Que Sera, Sera!
