seller overvalued item

I am in Canada, I made an offer on an item that was 26.50$AUD, seller accepted 18.00$AUD, which is about 16.00$CAD and I paid 30.00$AUD for shipping. I just received a notice saying I owe 27.26$CAD to Canada Post. I messaged the seller but they have yet to reply. I don’t want to pay it, it’s as if I’m paying 60$ for shipping on a 16$ item. Is there anything I can do?

 You are goint to have to pay at canada post and pick up your item or it will get sent back and you loose all. Then print out your ebay and paypal documents to prove it was only $16 CAD purchase price and make a mail in claim with customs and in about a month or more you should get a cheque from them for their blunder.

We have had to do this many times before and every time they paid us back.
