I made a purchase and paid for the $3.60 that the seller wanted for shipping. I just recieved an email this morning that they want to invoice me an additional $3.85 for shipping. Can a seller do that? It's already paid, shouldn't they just have to take the loss?
Item number was 330755001903
You are right, that listing clearly states $3.60. The seller is required to ship the item to you for that amount or refund your money entirely. The shoes will cost more than that to ship, so whether you feel up to compensating the foolish seller for the mistake or not is up to you. Then again, maybe the 'mistake' is a deliberate ruse. Either way, it is a violation of ebay policy to try to get more money from a buyer than what is clearly stated in the listing. Your seller should be sufficiently experienced by now to know that. Not to worry, I am sure all will turn out for the best when your seller remembers you can leave feedback. 🙂
