Global shipping program

Since I will never purchase items from sellers using the global shipping program, because of the ridiculous cost and the extra time it takes the package to arrive, I have tried to figure out how to eliminate these sellers when I am doing a search.  I have gone into advanced search and I have had no luck   Can anyone tell me if there is any way to do this?  Thank you

It's not a filter, but if you set your search results to display in "list view" and not "gallery view" you'll find that items forwarded through the GSP have the note "Customs Services and International Tracking Provided" along with the search result. Simply give those listings a pass.

Make sure you're using the .CA site, that you're logged in, and use a laptop or desktop computer for this to work best.

Thank you. I always use list view and always log into eBay.ca. When I am doing a search, there are hundreds of items and I don’t want to waste time scrolling. eBay should include this filter , but probably won’t.

@finethings25 A further refinement to Search is to use Highest Price And Shipping First. It seems counterproductive, but it is usually faster to scroll down through few dozen listings to your price point, than to wade through thousands of badly described and marginally related items to find the real thing.

For most things I do agree that the cost/time is more than should be allowed.  BUT, if you are careful, you can save a fair bit of money importing something expensive with the taxes and duty prepaid.

The easiest way is to shop on eBay.ca and select Canada Only at bottom left.

Thank you. The problem is I do make purchases from overseas, so then I don’t get their listings.

While this is the easiest way to eliminate listings where the item is being forwarded through the GSP, it does also eliminate sensible sellers who have done their homework and are not using the GSP. While I do believe we should support Canadian sellers whenever possible, I also don't think we should punish the good American (and British) sellers who are accommodating international buyers.
