Was the shipping cost for Canada ? Or did you mistake the US /domestic s&H as applying to cross-border buyers?

Does the seller use the Global Shipping Program? This shows the shipping cost as the cost for the seller to ship to the Program in Kentucky, BUT also shows the cost of Canadian duty and taxes and the shipping from Kentucky to Canada.

Which can be quite high especially if the item is just over $20 and small.

The GSP costs are noted on the listing, and in Search, and are also on the invoice before you agree to pay.

when you commit to purchase an item you agree with the shipping costs.  You could contact the seller and ask for a partial refund.  The only thing I think you can do it leave a low dsr for the shipping cost.
