Shipping adress

Seller has sent me e-mail wondering if the Kentucky shipping address is corrrect. My understanding is that the global shipping site in Kentucky is where he should send it and the people there will handle all matters concerning this purchase as well as to exactly where this item should be sent. I gather that the seller does not know the buyer's actual address except fot the global shipping site in Kentucky. Shouldn't the seller know this information already?

Hi marieange0_4,

The seller may not be aware of the program - you're right, they'd send to Kentucky and from there your item will be sent.

Thanks,

There have been enough reports of sellers, unclear on the concept of GSP, shipping directly to the customer instead of to Kentucky, that is seems that they do have the buyer's address.

For your question, since you are communicating with the seller, politely let him know that eBay does not recommend using the GSp for sales under $50. EBay sellers (like pierrelebel) have crunched the numbers and put that minimum at $100.

Let him know that USPS First Class International to Canada now includes the Delivery Confirmation that is probably the reason he wants to use GSP in the first place.
