can i use a canadian ebay gift card on my order and pay the rest using credit card? and do i need a paypal account to use a canadian ebay gift card? do i have to use paypal to pay the rest? my local 7-11 now has canadian ebay gift cards so i am wondering if i can use it with my credit card and if i can use it even though i dont have a paypal account.

The FAQ addresses those questions and it appears to me the answer to both is yes.

the text on the gift card says: "To use this Gift Card you must have an eBay account with a Canadian registration address, and a PayPal account." However it does not say it is required to have an account on the eBay online FAQ. It is confusing because on the physical card it says its required, however online FAQ says I can use a second funding source such as a credit card therefore I do not require a PayPal account.

I would go with what the gift card says -- many gift cards have special restrictions.

Really not sure why you are allergic to having a paypal account.
