Hello, I recently switched to Tangrine as my bank and when I tried updating the deposit info for my bank it gave me an error, after some digging I saw that multiple people who bank with Tangrine have had this issue.
But my main issue currently is I sold something on ebay and trying to refund the buyer due to this issue as I wouldn't have acess to the funds after the transation and the buyer 100% understood. The only option I've been given is refunding payment through my own card rather then reversing the funds from the on hold payout.
Is there anything I can do?
Have you tried refunding them through ebay already and if so, how were you trying to do it?
I have heard of people being able to refund with held funds but it doesn't seem to be possible all the time. It may not be possible if you don't have a bank account set up.
Have you tried setting up an account with Simpli? That can also be done online.
Make sure you don't list anymore until your bank is confirmed with eBay. I'm not sure why they even allow new users to list without adding their bank first but they do and this is the outcome of that.
eBay will probably just refund it with the money on hold since that's the whole point of holding the money to begin with but eBay probably won't be so pleased they have to do that so your going to want to fix your bank issue.
Hope that helps
