May I know why I got charged End Auction-style listings early Fee ?

Hi to all

I ended one of my auctions and canceled all the bids last night and I did not expect to get charged a fee of End Auction-style listings early Fee. I was selling a phone and the ongoing bid is CAD $ 685.00 and I ended it last night for a personal reasons. This morning I got a charge of CAD $ 91.02 from Ebay, I think is ridiculous .

How can I avoid getting charges like this in the future if I want to end my auction early?

 You cancelled an auction with active bidding.

When you do this, eBay assumes that you went off-eBay with the sale.

To prevent this, eBay still charges their fees based on the high bid at the time of the sale.

If some of your bidders seemed sketchey (reading their feedback, especially FB Left for Others, can be illuminating) you can cancel their bids and Block them from bidding.

If you are uncomfortable with a purchase, you have two ways of cancelling which do not hurt your selling account- Buyer Request and the very flexible Problem With Address.

BTW, your own feedback shows that you have not been selling for some time.

There may have been a Flag that your account was hijacked, especially if you were not selling phones when you were more active.
