My Canada to USA shipping cost is Calculated: Cost varies based on buyers location.
USA customers are messaging me for a shipping price.
All the parcel size and weight particulars are filled out on my end.
Why are they not seeing the price in their shipping options?
Thanks
I had that once. 12x12x12 inches is actually 30.5x30.5x30.5 cm so it is possible that your shipping options and your parcel sizes are off so it won't calculate it. You need it to add up to and no more than 90 cm total, no matter what the dimensions. I usually just put 30x30x30 and 1.999 kg for all parcels so that I have wiggle room. There really isn't a lot of difference for the buyer unless the item is small and uder 500g. In that case you can use 999g as your weight when making a draft. Also, most things are parcels now, when shipping to the US so I rarely use padded envelopes, only if it will bring a parcel down below a weight bracket. CP does 0-500g 500g to 999g, 1kg to 1.499 kg and then 1.5 to 1.999 kg. I keep what I am selling within all I have said here and I rarely have issues. Hopefully this helps everyone out.
Your listings are showing Canada Post regular parcel for here in Canada but do you have a shipping method/service chosen for the US?
For it to calculate it needs to know not only the size and weight but how you will be sending it, ie. would it be by Tracked Package USA?, US Air Mail, Etc.
Do you have the shipping method included? If not that could be the reason.
More than likely the problem is that the measurements you are using are below the minimum measurements required by Canada Post for expedited USA. In order for the calculator to work, each measurement must be a minimum of 21cm x 14cm x .5cm
The minimum measurements for Canada Post regular and expedited parcel within Canada are not the same so the same measurements may work on the calculator for within Canada but not for the US.
