One more tariff question..

I sell scrapbook punches that are made in China through Ebay.com. Average price is 30.00 to 50.00 US, and most of my punches go to the US. I usually sell a few per month, but since tariff threats..nothing.  It is my understanding that there are no tariffs on purchases under 800.00 US.  Am I or the US buyer subject to fees that are different now in comparison to  before  Trump?

It is the buyer that would be responsible for any tariffs, duty, fees etc.

While it's all so very confusing, and we all sit hoping to be able to straighten it all out, my understanding is it is based on country of origin (meaning where it was made/manufactured), not where it is being shipped from.

If most of your buyers are in the US and you haven't had any activity for a while it may just be they don't know/understand how these extra tariffs work and/or worry about extended time at the border so are putting off buying for now.
