I recently sent messages to a half a dozen buyers that I had left feedback for and asked if they would kindly take a few moments to leave feedback for me. The first response that I received to my message was that they would love to but there was no button for leaving feedback? No other responses yet. I have a relatively new account and my feedback score is only 17 and I would like to see it grow at least somewhat in relation to my sales. I realize that with e sales being such a normal part of life now that feedback has become somewhat passe, but I remeber how it used to be, it was satisfying to rack up successful sales and get positive feedback. There was more of a personal element to the transactions.
Don't ever do that again.
Feedback is voluntary and there are several possibilities.
The buyer still leaves no feedback.
The buyer leave positive feedback.
The buyer is annoyed but leaves neutral feedback which is not counted by eBay.
The buyer is annoyed and leave negative feedback "Here's the feedback you demanded."
The buyer was not completely happy but was okay with his purchase until you nagged him. Now you have a complaint to deal with.
