Hi Guys,
For some reason, the sales tax that I set is not applying to the items that I am selling. Sales tax check box is ticked and the sales tax table is also set. I really need your help! Please see screenshots below.
This is the picture of an item that was sold but no Sales Tax added.
Sales tax check box is ticked.
Sales tax table is set.
Yes we are registered to collect tax.
If you are registered to collect BC taxes, you will be remitting BC taxes.
As for the tax table our items are only "LOCAL PICKUP" we do not ship and our buyers are only within BC so ignore the other province.
Remove the (mostly incorrect) tax rates from provinces where you are not registered and where you do not sell.
My main concern is why the sales tax is not applying, any thoughts?
Because you have all the other provinces listed too, and most of the rates are incorrect?
That sales tax table is incorrect. BC and Manitoba are the only provinces with 12%
Are you registered to collect sales tax?

You only collect (and REMIT) Canadian sales taxes if you registered to do so.
You only collect (and REMIT) Canadian sales taxes in provinces or territories where you have a physical presence.
Unless you are selling over $30,000 annually you are not required to register to collect (and REMIT) sales taxes.
