Why arent my items selling despite better pricing?

Hello all,

I am tring to figure out why my items are not selling despite pricing.  I recognize that I do not have any ratings. This is because I have not sold anything at this point. I would imagine this is a sticking point for many buyers.  What is the best way to get the first few buyers so that I can get rated?

Are there any other issues with how I am listing?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Then there is aspirational pricing.

Some consumers feel that the higher the price the better the product.

Usually but not always true.

If something doesn't sell at a low price, try raising the price.

Or.

Since many of your items are already fairly valuable, use Free Shipping.

Don't Panic!

Free shipping means your cost of shipping is included in the asking price (making the asking price higher) instead of being a separate line item.

Which is cheaper: a $400 set of seals with $15 shipping or a $415 set of seals with Free Shipping?

You might also add to your description "Shipped from Alberta/ Next business day/ EXPEDITED SHIPPING"

You know that we can buy Expedited labels on eBay for the same price as Regular Parcel, right?

2 kits are required to completely service one pump.

Should you be selling two kits together then?
