Labels should be turned back on. Why is eBay leaving them off still?

That news, that the union has opted for "work to rule" rather than a strike, is about eight hours old now. (11:53PDT)

Give the boys in the backroom time to react, eh?

And there has been speculation that management may lock out the workers (ie a strike by management) rather than negotiate.

My guess is they'll give it a week or two first, but I think that's the likely scenario. This is probably the least damaging time of the year for a full strike. At some point all of this has to be resolved once and for all. Much better for it to happen now than have businesses lose ANOTHER full Christmas season.
