You want to cancel an active listing?

Go to sellers hub/active listings   https://www.ebay.ca/sh/lst/active

To bring up a list of options, click on the arrow to the left of that listing - click on end listing

Is someone asking you to close the auction and sell to them privately?

Don't do that.

Not only does eBay forbid off-eBay sales, but anyone asking you to do so is probably a scammer.

Was texting involved? Scammer.

Was Paypal mentioned? Scammer.

Does the auction have several more days to run? Scammer.

Is the item "urgently needed" because blah blah blah? Scammer.

But if you just noticed a really dumb error on your part, you're safe enough.
