I never refund in that situation until a trace is complete. I just eat
the negative feedback and move on (hence why I have over 20 negatives in
my profile). It's not worth either the time or effort to try dance
around the occasional negative feedback...

Unfortunately there's no viable alternative for small items. UPS is
never less than $16-18 to the USA regardless of what size or weight the
package is. Fedex is even higher. I charge customers a $6USD flat rate
for most items 100-499 grams and an ite...
I'm going to continue subsidizing the rates although I'm feeling the
crunch too, the only reason I can afford to do so is that most of my
items have a 300-500% markup over my cost. But the dollar is cutting
into my profit by around $2500 a month righ...
I'd take a card with 50% interest if they'd ignore my nasty R9 credit
rating. Can't get PayPal verified without one, which is all I actually
need a credit card for.
