Can you use a coupon code after accepting seller’s offer?

Hello, I contacted a seller who is willing to discount an item from their original selling price - so they’ve sent me an email offer of a lower price. I am wondering if I click “accept this offer”, will I still be able to use an eBay coupon code when I go to pay for the item? Or will the price I need to pay be fixed at the new price the seller has offered? Thanks!

Ok so i took the plunge and tried out this out so it can finally actually be answered for any others!

So I was sent an offer on an item I wanted, was £16.95 but £15.95 offered. I noticed on the regular item page the current 10% eBay code did show I can use it for this purchase. I accepted the £15.95 offer and on the payment page I was then able to enter the 10% code in the voucher box, I did get this to work. I got the item at £14.35 paid in total. *Test* ✅

Hope this might help someone else wondering about using a current voucher code still, after accepting an offer sent from buyer. The one thing I’ll say is to make sure the code is useable for that seller and that item, before then accepting the offer and entering the code at the payment stage to further reduce amount paid 👍

I haven't ever had that situation but I would think that you could use an eBay coupon.  The seller isn't going to be reimbursing you for the coupon, Ebay will be.

Everything you ordered or accepted should be in your cart before you make payment.

If the price was lowered then it should show the price in your cart.

You enter the code and apply it and see the total price to make sure it is discounted to the right price before you submit to make your payment.

It’s now 2022 and came here looking for a answer to this as well, years and not one answer…

There’s an eBay 10% off code until midnight, a seller has sent me an offer price less than the original price. I was to accept that particular price, then use the eBay 10% off……. What I don’t want is to accept the offer and then can’t use the code off…. Still we wonder one day maybe lol

Oops sent that to quick by accident there. Thank you for looking into the voucher usabilities and given the link. I can confirm now the vouchers do still work after accepting an offer by a seller. So we can receive a reduced offer and then use the voucher on top of that 😊
