How do I report a forged signature on a album?

Ebay is not letting me report a forged signature on a album cover. It is quite obvious that the signature is forged and is no where near the celebrities signature. They set the price really low to fool teenagers, since thats the main audience of this singer. A normal signed album goes for 500$-1000$ not 100$. Ebay will not let me report it, every time I try to click report it says "Additional Details Invalid". Please help, I can't even email ebay directly bcs I haven't bought/sold anything.

If you were to buy the album you could make a Not As Described Claim.

But that seems convoluted.

Consider making your report through the eBay representatives assigned to social media.

Have your proof available (examples of the celebrity's actual signature would be useful).

Write out your complaint  and cut and paste it into the Chat. This will also help you clarify the situation when you proofread.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

@marnotom!

eBay seems to be more proactive to removing items  involving smaller sellers vs those with mega quantity of listings (power sellers) out there. A number of years ago I had an item cancelled due to a product recall. When I questioned with ebay and reported the smaller and larger sellers for the confirmed infraction, the smaller low volume sellers were pulled almost immediately. In testing since the larger sellers still have their identical listings up and running. Recall is still active for the product. Similar thing happens(doesn't) if you report an item listed in China.

Sincerely, reporting eBay listings that you don't bid on is fruitless. I've done so many times, mostly for counterfeit items like burned dvds (even if the listing content specified it was a copy), and it never went anywhere. The "report item" function ends directly in the garbage bin...
