As stated, I purchased some injectors from Carbox24 in Germany. They want me to return the old ones. However, following their shipping rules, they never picked up from their customs and will not respond to my messages.
So, my big problem is with eBay for help. They have a terrible AI system; you can't talk to a human, and all their help options don't address this situation. So, I'm in limbo. To illustrate excellent service, I had ordered something from Amazon, and a porch pirate stole it. I had a number to call, spoke with a representative, and had it resolved in 10 minutes. Here I've spent a whole afternoon trying to figure out how to put in a complaint for resolution. I've tried a number of different areas on eBay, none of which address this issue directly. Wish me luck.
Regards,
George
eBay's customer service may be hit and miss compared to Amazon's, but I find that eBay's help pages are a wealth of useful information. When I had to deal with a misfilled shipment from Amazon, it took me some time to wade through their help pages to figure out what steps I needed to take.
I could be wrong, but it sounds to me as though your seller sidestepped the generally accepted procedure for handling a customer with a "not as described" item, either out of ignorance or out of deliberate malfeasance. Did you find the help page on the eBay Money Back Guarantee? It's here:
https://www.ebay.ca/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy?...
If eBay has no record of this return being made--and, like @femmefan1946, I'm concerned that this is the case--that may be the reason you're having trouble finding out what steps you need to take at this point.
If you go through some similar threads on these discussion boards, you'll find out that your best bet for contacting a human being in customer service is to go through eBay's X / Twitter or Facebook accounts. If you're using the desktop/laptop version of eBay, links to those accounts are at the bottom of just about every page on the site.
