Why can I not exclude certain items by shipping cost when searching?

I'm trying to exclude certain listings with a shipping cost over a certain amount. I've been looking at trading cards and unfortunately lots of US sellers shipping fees price out the value of the card. Problem is sorting by shipping + lowest first just brings all the starting auctions to the front with low value ($1-2) when I don't mind looking at items higher in value but the shear number of listings makes it impossible to find something with say a ~$10 Shipping cost but a $50 card.

Is there a way to exclude items with a shipping fee over a set amount??

One possibility is to separate your search into two searches; one just for buy-it-now items, and another just for auctions.

For fixed price listings, try using a price range to limit the number of results to something reasonable, then sort by "Price plus shipping: highest first" and jump to the end of the search results and scroll up.

This causes the results to be sorted backwards from what you are used to, but it also has the effect of sorting variation listings by the highest priced variation within your price range, which is often the variation you are actually interested in.

Nothing available specific to shipping costs.
