Hi folks, my problem is as follows:
I bought a wedding dress (custom made) and it is said that for making the dress I need to wait from 1-6 weeks plus 1-2 weeks for shipment, giving a deadline for delivery of 8 weeks.
It is now 9 weeks pased and the saler constantly talking that the dress will be sent, but not and specific date. The dress is stil not sent.
Now I wanted to open the case and I saw that my time has expired. The application deadline was up to 28.05.2012, and the seller on his site said it was 8 weeks delivery time (as in my case up to 01.06.2012.) ... In this case I'm not protected.
I didn't wanted to open a case before the expiry date of delivery and what now?
You want to be honest and at the end they scam you ... what should I do?
Hi tandi.. from feedback , looks like the seller's venture into gowns worked out badly and not taking responsibility.
Any purchase with a time line like that should always have payment backed by a credit card. Hopefully you did and can call the 800 # on card back and request a chargeback. Have all transaction details at hand when calling.
Ebay requires items to be shipped within 30 days but that is no help to you. You are also at deadline for feedback.
