EBay never paid me.

So I went through the process of verifying my HSBC bank account for eBay payments. I sold an item and eBay says money was transferred and gave me some BS confirmation number. Nothing shows in bank so I contact them. They say nothing came from eBay. So for a 83 dollar payment I have been bounced back and forth between my bank and eBay 42 times!! It’s enough to drive you insane. I know what eBay’s scam is. They figure they will just wear you down till you give up. I’m not some **bleep** that will give up. If I have to sue eBay over this I will. It’s time to get some answers because I think this is done to a lot of people. Next step is a forensic computer specialist. I don’t care what it costs because eBay will pay in the end.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be with the bank identification number.

EBAy had my TD account set up with a Royal Bank id number.

That took a month and a half to clear up-- because no one noticed it, including me.

Just a suggestion- cross check all the numbers. Including those on the 'paperwork' eBay is supplying.

I've had problems with three of my four selling accounts, and it took a long time (and a couple of Chats- the phone people were nice enough but had no authority) to get straightened out.

Every penny I was owed was transferred promptly once we got each account working.

EBay says they are holding the monies in escrow and are not earning interest on it. Paypal made the same promise. It may actually be a legal requirement.
