Even though Fedex may offer a cheaper rate than Canada Post in some cases, i now refuse to use it due to their practice and almost policy of making sure the item is completely damaged beyond repair. I have shipped speakers with lots of styrofoam and padding only to have a corner smashed in due to reckless handling. I even had an item where the box was undamaged but the guts inside a tape deck was scrambled eggs. I havd no idea what they do to stuff but they seem to go the extra mile to make sure the item is destroyed. Anybody else experience this with Fedex?
