I tried FREE SHIPPING a couple months ago but it wasn't working for me. My DSR's for shipping and handling charges were never below 5/5.

Since ending the free shipping trial my dsr's have dropped. I understand that it only takes one bad delivery to drop it down. What I'm thinking is that maybe eBay is enticing me to go back to free shipping in order to ensure higher ratings. I would like to know what shipments went wrong so I could correct it for next time.

eBay should tell me what I did wrong. Show me where it went wrong.

Since eBay automatically gives you 5 stars for Free Shipping, while the buyer gets to choose the Rating when shipping is not included, it is likely that your DSRs for that would drop, even if only one customer gave you a 4 rather than a 5.

You could try doing Free Shipping on those items that can easily be sent LetterPost/Light Packet, although most of your items are not going to fit into the 2cm slot.
