I was wondering, being new here, does my charges for post come out automatically from paypal?

If you are a seller the postage will only come out of ebay when and if you print paypal shipping label otherwise your shipping charges will not come out of paypal and yuo will just pay at the post office ...

If your a buyer the total sale price will come out as soon as you complete checkout..
