Are you using the overSimplified Sell Your Item form that eBay defaults newbies into using?
On the right side of your Listings page, where the Sell Your Item form can be found there is a link called "custom settings" or something like that.
That will send you to the easier to use, longer, and clearer Business/Advanced SYI form.
