eBay is putting holds on my finds again?

I passed the 90 days, the whatever thousands of dollars, the number of happy buyers etc.

I had NO holds at all except for one or two short audits.

Now I called up and found out the paypal hold was due to eBay saying I hadn't passed those requirements again.

Now I just got payed and again, paypal hold.

What's going on?

Paypal sent me an email with the buyer's email as reply to. It said if I want my funds faster I should add my address to eBay. That's just one more piece of information out there on the net tho. Why are they asking me to do this now? (I'm trusted seller with over 25 postive and 0% neg)

Which is already with Paypal, I imagine. And the hydro, and your bank, and your phone company, and and and.

You can make it a mailbox (postal or commercial) if you prefer, just as some online sellers have a dedicated cellphone for online sales and purchases.

At least Paypal Canada finally got the word that Canadians are not supposed to give our SINs to anyone but the boss, the bank, and the government as a proof of identity.  Sometimes they were demanding driving licenses, which would be a problem for me, since I have managed to liver over 70 years without one.

Have you phoned and asked ebay about it? If you are selling regularly its odd that they are holding payments again.

I did phone them and they said "Oh sorry it looks like you're a casual seller..." and that I suddenly had magically reverted back to not having passed the initial money, time requirements. So bizarre. I said but... I sold the 25 items, I got the feedback, I'm above avg, and its beyond 90 days! He was not really speaking clearly and I just don't know what he said. I'll have to call back.
