What's going on with discounted southbound shipping rates?

Ebay's discounted southbound shipping rate was supposed to expire on March 31st, yet it's still active (I'm NOT complaining).

Did ebay issue a statement saying that it was extended or now permanent... and I missed it?

I'm just concerned that the discount will stop suddenly without notice and I will be caught off guard, as I only use Canada Post when there is a discount in effect... and Chit Chats when there is no discount.

Canada Post Tracked Packet™ - USA discounts on eBay Labels extended indefinitely

eBay Canada is pleased to announce that our previously limited-time promotion for Canada Post’s Tracked Packet™ - USA service is being extended indefinitely.

Last year, Canada Post and eBay Canada partnered on a limited-time promotion to help eBay sellers offer low-cost, tracked shipping to buyers in the US. Initially slated to run until the end of 2023, the promotion was extended - set to end on March 30, 2024. 

However, moving forward these new promotional rates are the standard eBay-negotiated discounts for purchases using eBay Labels.

These rates apply to items weighing up to two kilograms, shipping to any location in the United States:

Up to 100g $6.35

Up to 250g $7.08

Up to 500g $8.67

Up to 1Kg $14.09

Up to 2Kg $16.98

*These are base, flat rates. Fuel surcharges may apply.

eBay sellers can access the specially reduced rates simply by purchasing their shipping on eBay Labels - our on-platform label-printing solution. You can also access reduced rates on eBay Labels for domestic shipping of small, lightweight items through Canada Post Expedited Lite.
