As mrdutch has said there is no withdrawing of payments, only eBay's release of your funds and as a new seller you have a waiting time.

Hopefully you have already set yourself up with your bank information in Managed Payments which is where the funds will come from and sent to you (you don't control it but you should have been able to choose your payment frequency - daily, weekly, etc. which will kick in after you've past your waiting period).

Once you're set up, and as a new seller the allocated time has passed, your funds will be released and generally takes a day or two from the release date of eBay until they are actually deposited. You can check the status if you go to Sellers Hub, there is a "Payments" tab and it will show status there under Summary. It should show your amount as "Pending Funds" now, until delivery confirmation and/or the time has past, it should show an estimated date for you there though I'm not sure if it's different for your very first sale.

I've been selling here for 12 years but I do remember there was a few weeks waiting period even back then that funds were "held" in PayPal. As you can appreciate it is for everyone's protection that the waiting period is adhered to. Otherwise anyone could just "list" and sell an item (even if it didn't exist) and take the money and run. On the bright side you sold your item quickly which is great, but as mrdutch has said patience.

welcome to the world of selling on eBay..

For starters, you are posting to eBay.CA community>this is the Canadian eBay community forums and your ID shows your location as USA.If your ID on this post is your selling ID, therein lies the answer to your query>>you are a new seller and as a new seller you don't get to choose the "time to withdraw my funds after selling my iteme "...As a new seller you must wait until eBay releases those funds...which can take up to 30 days or more depending on the value of the item sold, location of the buyer, delivery status of the item, buyer satisfaction, etc, etc. eBay will release your funds at such time when eBay is completely satisfied that all is well with the sale and that there are no problems/issues or any other circumstance forthcoming that might arise from the transaction. As a new seller be sure you know all the rules, policies, etc and accept/adapt and adjust to all of the requirements for new eBay sellers before you carry on.... You will also need to learn about this thing called P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E!!

Have you set up your Managed Payments account?
EBay will need your chequing account information and secondary ID, like a passport or driving license.

And all your names must match.
If your name is John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith, you cannot have a bank account as J J  Jingleheimer Smith , a Managed Payment account as John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith, and an eBay account as JJJ Smith.

Now eBay can transfer the customer's payment to your checking account.

But

Until you've been selling for 90 days and sold 25 items your payments will be held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking. They can hold the payment for the full 21 days if you're selling in a high risk category.

Another VICTIM of the eBay

fall for something hook, line, and sinker

Only 3 Steps, easy as pie folks...

SELL

SHIP

GET PAID

So why do they not get the Newbies to set up their banking first?

Because, if they did that many would not complete the process, so getting them hooked by listing and selling ensures they get their banking details...
