1. Do not sell anything expensive on ebay until you have a lot of selling experience. New and inexperienced sellers, especially those selling expensive items, are the favorite targets of scammers. They rely on the fact that most new sellers are clueless to ebay policies and could be easily scammed out of their item.
2. Check completed listings for the same or similar items to see if they have sold and for how much.
