EBAY deletes my listing saying it is in the wrong category but EBAY doesn't know my product and what they are capable of doing!
Is a competitor reporting my listing or is EBAY out to lunch???
One of the posters has opined that someone reported it, and that may be true. However, my own recent experience (irregularly over the past 2 months or so) has been that eBay automatically applied their product catalogue to several of my listings, and then prevented the listings from going live because "I've listed it in the wrong category" (just for clarity, I use a 3rd party listing service). I have had to review these listings, find the catalogue reference, delete it, and then try listing again. I have never willingly chosen to use the eBay product catalogue. In my case at least, this seems to be a programmed automatic response, not something reported by another user. It's possible that it happens in other categories than what I use.
Well it's a pretty picture but not very helpful.
What category did you have it listed in?
That appears to be a wind driven water pump, based on my long ago alternate energy sales experience.
I would think Home Improvement-> Other Home Improvement. Although the Solar category, while completely wrong would reach the right audience.
Or perhaps Business and Industrial-> Agriculture and Forestry.
Interestingly, when I put in Wind Machine, I got a lot of CDs.
my guess is someone reported it. i don't believe they have the manpower to check every listing out there for right categories being used.

I find the catalogue very poor for books.
Not only does it refuse early ISBNs but it does not recognize most British or Canadian ISBNs.
I gather the catalogue has something to do with Google Search, but human beings rarely Search by ISBN. They use author or title.
OP-- are you using a Manufacturer's Number, or a Stock Number? (The acronym has gone right out of my head.)
What category had you listed it? Where did ebay expect it to go and how is it incorrect?
