if you estimate the dimensions/weight when you are filling out the shipping details for actual shipping
(Not flat rate.) And then when you go to purchase the label & fill in the dimensions/weight does it matter if the original quoted shipping (which will be a estimate - posted on the auction page, buyer can see this) is lower than the actual shipping, does the buyer make up for the difference/can you charge the buyer more?
If a buyer purchases an item with quoted/stated shipping included in that listing, NO, you cannot charge additional shipping after the buyer has purchased the item at the stated shipping cost. However, if a buyer purchases more than one item from the seller in auction format, then yes the seller can adjust the shipping costs to accommodate combined shipping.
