just was wondering what the heaviest dimensions are not to be exceeded to ship to canada through ebay
like what is the heaviest item that can be ordered and shipped to canada via purolator probably as canada post
weight restriction is 60lbs and received package the other day via purolator and had to pick up at their depot and
weight of item was 95 lbs
just wondering
It would depend on the origin of the package (USA? CHINA? RUMANIA?)
On the product itself. Some products cannot be imported at all and some require special permits (fireworks for example)
On the shipping service chosen-- and that would be the most important.
After all, people move entire households across continents and oceans every day. The largest shipment I've made was from Kelowna to Ottawa --cost was $1 a kilo for 1400 kilos. Moved by Two Small Men With Big Hearts (it's a franchise, great name though.)
As far as eBay is concerned there are no limits. People regularly sell RVs, tractors, and industrial machinery here. EBay only gets involved if the item is not delivered.
Umm- are you buying something away from eBay and is the seller telling you that eBay will handle it in some way? This is what is technically called a SCAM and the sellers is termed a criminal. Run.
