Policy for eBay.ca says: Sellers may offer to accept personal cheques,
money orders, cashier’s cheques, certified cheques, Canadian Tire Money™
and other negotiable instruments.

I received a postal wire transfer from Latvia once. I was quite
surprised. They go to their post office (or wherever...I'm not sure),
transfer the money to Canada Post and CP issues a corporate cheque to
the recipient.
Their claim statement that "Moneybookers is a hard currency. As a
general rule: payments once made are irrevocable" was pretty appealing
at first. But it's somewhat puzzling given this statement in their Terms
& Conditions: 6.4. When Customer receive...
I haven't had time to find out more about this but I once had a buyer
send money via a postal wire transfer. He apparently went to his post
office in Lativa and Canada Post sent me a corporate cheque a couple
weeks later.
