Buy multiple items from 1 seller.. How do I request quote for shipping?

I'm planning on buying 4 small items from the same store. I don't want to pay 4 times shipping as the items are cheap and light. Seller agrees. However I'm unable to purchase items without paying yet.. As y.ou could do years ago.. PayPal forces me to pay right away.. With the shipping on each item... This becomes very costly.. Any ideas how to request a quote from seller or not yet pay when selecting multiple items?

There have been a lot of problems requesting combined invoices lately. But if the seller is located in the U.S. you can sign into ebay.com and then put each item in a shopping cart. When you are done you can request an invoice from the seller. If you can't do that, you could ask the seller to make up a listing just for you with those 4 items and one shipping cost.

I've also posted about not having a Shopping Cart on .ca and Kalvin (from ebay) says they're "working on it" - but for sure we should just have one like every other site.  I bought 2 items from the U.K. and had to msg. the seller to refund me for the 2nd item which was free - and then seller has to do his paper work.  All done, but it's just a hassle, and so unnecessary.
