I stumbled across this page at Canada Post Corporation while looking for something else and I'd not seen it before so it was interesting to me.
ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT DOMESTIC SERVICE DISRUPTIONS OR SUSPENDED SERVICE
ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT FOREIGN POSTAL ISSUES
https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/blogs/announcements/list.page?cattype=announcements&cat=updates
Oh, and just because it's a good bookmark to have if you are exporting your ebay-type goods on a semi-regular basis, this is the link to the member post offices of the world http://www.upu.int/en/the-upu/member-countries.html
Oddly, the thing that I was looking to find, I could not find again. It was a notice that said there would be no tracking/label purchasing available overnight on November 22? That's what I was looking to clarify here. I'll be back if I can find it.

Whoops, no, I was wrong. The announcement I wanted to clarify was apparently just about mail forwarding (I must have been dreaming) and more information can be found at https://twitter.com/canadapostcorp?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor but I don't think it affects us as ebay sellers here at all. And while, I'm all CPC-happy, here's a handy-dandy screenshot with some international mail-by dates for the holidays. I have information like this on the bottom of all my listings but not from the Canada Post website, it's of my own creation. It has saved me more than once from unhappy toy-buyers in the days leading to Christmas.

On the same Twitter page, I saw the following, which could be encouraging (although it didn't do me any good, no sales for a few days now):
Items ordered online & delivered by @canadapostcorp up 16% from last year #BlackFriday http://oak.ctx.ly/r/40cf1
Also, while we're on the subject of postal deadlines and delays, I think personally I'd extend those European timelines by at least a week, especially for anything going to France or Belgium. Those CPC timelines presumably were based on "business as usual".
However, the whole of Belgium is currently in lock-down, France is probably not much better, and I can't imagine the backlog of pre-Christmas mail and parcels that will have to be dealt with once (whenever??) things get moving again. A minor consideration under the horrific circumstances in those countries, I know, but for those of us who have to carry on with business, it must be kept in mind that there are things going on in the world that may directly impact our ability to deliver purchased items to certain areas.

Thanks for posting. I have bookmarked this page for future use. I think I have learned more about global conflicts from reading the UK page than I have from reading my newspaper!

I know, it was interesting, wan't it? I too was impressed with that page from Royal Mail. And I'm glad to be of assistance.
