Case not as described on one of item of multiple purchase

Good day everyone.

I'm looking an advice here. A buyer bought 2 item from me, paid together with combine shipping and then opened a case item as not described for one of it.

How to handle it?

She said the item that she claimed not described is dirty and the color is not white as she ordered but gray.

I packed her order by myself as always and confident it was white and fine, very suprised that she said gray. I have a feeling she just try to escort a refund.

I will ask her to send me a picture for sure, but I don't know what should I respond next.

I'm not a fun of partial refund actually, but the case is only opened for one item.

It is not a big money, each item cost $6.99, she paid total $23.98 = (2X 6.99 + 10 shipping).

Buyer is in estonia.

In her case she asked for replacement, that I couldn't fullfill it. Eventhough I have one left, the item is identical with the one I sent before. Another reason is the cost of postage about same with the cost of item.

Thank you in advance for any advices.

You could tell her to return both pieces for a refund.  That usually dissuades frivolous claims.

I would like to do what you suggested for the sake of principal, but doubt to do it because of my DSR. I have already couple low rating.

Frankly, I would ask her to contribute the scarf to charity and refund the $6.99 . Less stress. Remember what you are out is the original cost of the item plus whatever fees eBay charged you. Which should be less than the $6.99.

Then add her to your Blocked Bidder List.

There is no way to insure that you will not still get poor feedback and DSRs, but you will have shown you are willing to co-operate.

The "donation to charity" is just a little twist of the knife to make her feel guilty everytime she wears the scarf.

Yes, I am a mean and nasty person.

If you charged extra shipping for the 2nd purchase, you might want to refund that portion as well.
