It takes up to 24 hours for a new listing to "index". It may take longer if you are a new seller, offering high value/ high fraud products, or have any violations on your account.
You know that when you sell an item and I hope you are successful at that, Paypal will hold the payment for 21 days against your prompt delivery and customer service, eh?
