Darla, someone HELP!! ALL of my auctions have disappeared!!!

Is there anyone out there that can help?? I was just clicking around and checking out some auctions, and when I returned to my-eBay ALL 44 of my auctions have disappeared! ALL the auctions I have sold have disappeared....EVERYTHING IS GONE!!!

WHAT DI I DO??? I am freaking out here!

Thanks for checking. Its just that it is unusual not receiving any emails from prospective customers through eBay like we are accustomed to.
You know like "How many strings does your 6 string guitar have?" or "Does your violin and case package include a case?"
Boy I am really missing responding to those questions today.

eBay must be "fixing" things again.

I use selling manager and everything had disappeared for a short while. It's back now. This seems to happen every couple of months. Generally, I turn off the computer, go watch a movie on the tube and, when I get back, everything seems to be back to normal.

Thanks Glenda for checking too! It is helpful to know that people can see them...but I am still quite convinced that they may not be biddable. has any of you who've had disappearing auctions today had ANY action? If all of us have no action that would be even stranger.

I had to go out for an appointment before. Now that I am back, all my auctions are there...but still ZERO activity...which is VERY strange for my auctions on a Sunday afternoon.

I really cannot believe that the one finishing today hasnt had any other bids. There are only 2 items of the same up on ebay, and the other STARTS at $5 more than my current bid. Having watched the same item intensely for several weeks to a month and a half, it is NOT the normal pattern for this item. So, I still have to wonder if these items are biddable. I know from experience that unbiddable items do NOT always get you emails from people saying "hey, I tried to bid and its not working".

I'll go one better. We just listed a new item 15 minutes ago and it hasnt appeared on "My eBay" which is unusual although I received my eBay email congratulating me for my new listing.

Also I have not had any bids on my items since the problem began which is, as already stated by Jaqui, unusual.

No bids on a Sunday in over 5 hours is not unusual, nor is it rare, it is a PROBLEM!!

I'd be willing to bet that these items are not biddable at all.

The problem is that with no reserve on my items that ends in 1 1/2 hours, I seem to be stuck having to sell it below my cost, unless someone can place a bid. That's just not right. And it is ticking me off.

You may want to end a couple of your auctions early if you are going to loose $ due to eBays inability to allow more bids.

Can I do that when there are already bids on it though? Plus, if I end it early, am I obliged to sell it at the current price? That is after all the problem...I dont want to be forced to sell below my cost. I started the bidding lower than my cost because there has not been ONE of these books sell at below $23 US, and MOST of them sell at about $30 US.

Mine is sitting with 3 bids at $15.50 US.

I cancelled an ad recently that had 3 bids on it.

I found that the instrument (the last one I had) had a small flaw with it and I didnt want to sell something as new when there was something wrong.

I emailed the bidders (out of courtesy) and cancelled my auction.

Although with me, no one had reached my reserve which you do not have so there could be a problem.

I also recall bidding on something that had reached the reserve that was cancelled befoire the end of the auction.

If it is going to be a loss to you, I would give it a try and hold eBay responsible. I still havent had any bids and My eBay hasnt yet listed the item we put on over 1 1/2 hours ago.

I just wrote on the other thread...I did get a bid, so if I lose, then its "my problem"...not because of an inability to bid from other bidders.

Just thought that anyone who read my earlier email about something that I listed over 2 hours ago, it still isnt showing up in my eBay despite something listed after showing up right away.

I may list it again tonight and if they both appear, cancel one of them.
