Final Shipping Fee

Why am I being pennied to death over shipping? I charge exactly what the post office charges me and yet get charged mere pennies for what ebay considers necessary because why? I also thought we were allowed to charge handling, which btw, I include in my listing price and do not add on. ???

eBay charges a final value fee on shipping mostly because if they didn't people would scam them and put the item as 99 cents and include the price of the item in the shipping charges.

If you print your shipping label with PayPal, you get a considerable discount = aka. you get it back

Are you referring to fvf on shipping or something else?

Well you sort of explained it yourself......

A - there is nothing wrong with having a handling charge

B - If you include part or all of the shipping in the item price you would be paying a fvf on that. eBay wanted to encourage "free shipping", sellers who went with that were paying fees on shipping long before the change. Now shipping extra or shipping included both face the same fees.

ebay should re-evaluate this. Especially  shipping to the usa for canadian sellers.
