Cannot change the password to one that I used before.
Anybody seen this in User Agreement?
I think eBay is going little too far with protecting us from ourselves
Goold old ninetees when nobody was forcing me change password or telling me that this is good one and that is not. Stupid IT useless idiots justifying their pathetic existence.

That's a standard precaution, common in the industry.

I've run into that before but if you really want to use an old password, you can. You just can't use the last one you used but you can use one that you used 2 passwords ago.
Current: 12345
Previous: 67893
It won't let you change it to 67893 but you can change it to something else altogether and then change it back to 67893 if you really want to because in their eyes that's not the last password you had.
It doesn't mean you can never use a password you've ever used before it just means that you can't use the most recent one you've last used. Follow?

I just tried this. It did not work for the first time.
Had to change the password 8 times to be able to change it back to the previous one.
Annoying ...
But not as much as CanadaPost Online Business Tools website. Total mess.
